Program Summary

KBR will sustain the operational well-being of U.S. Armed Forces at Mor贸n Air Base (Spain), Incirlik Air Base, Izmir Air Station, and various facilities in Turkey. Our services encompass program management, civil engineering, morale and recreation support, postal operations, safety services, logistics, and more. With a five-year base period and three one-year options, KBR ensures these bases operate smoothly, allowing deployed personnel to focus on mission execution.

Job Summary

Serve as a Firefighter assigned to a crew engaged in airfield, structural firefighting, crash-rescue, Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT). Drive and operate firefighting vehicles of significant complexity, to respond to the presence or potential releases of hazardous materials for the purpose of stopping or controlling the release, and to conduct performance of noninvasive basic first aid procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responding to fire incidents promptly and efficiently.
  • Driving emergency vehicles with strategic route planning.
  • Operating a variety of specialized equipment, including pumps and foam generators.
  • Utilizing advanced protective gear in hazardous situations.
  • Performing daily preventive maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and equipment checks.
  • Ensuring all equipment is consistently maintained in optimal working conditions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • US Citizenship
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Shall possess a High School diploma, or equivalent.
  • Shall have a working knowledge of fire suppression, rescue and emergency incident techniques, operation of fire equipment, water distribution and supply requirements.
  • Shall have a working knowledge of the characteristics of aircraft fuel propellants, oxidizers and weapons.
  • Shall meet position certificates IAW DOD 6055.06 M.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of firefighting experience in a structured fire protection role that delivers fire suppression services.
  • At least 2 of the last 3 years should have been spent in an organization that provides aircraft crash, fire, and rescue services.
  • Proven ability to understand and apply fire suppression, rescue, and emergency incident techniques, along with expertise in operating fire equipment and managing water distribution and supply needs.
