NOV is seeking an experienced and motivated individual for our Warehouser role in the northwest Houston, TX area. This individual would be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock.
Responsibilities
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Completes shipments by processing and loading orders
- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
- Enforce inventory control by performing cycle counts as needed
- Provides quality service by following organizational standards
- Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat
- Promote clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Completes reports by entering required information
- Utilize safe work habits
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned
- Comply with all NOV company and HSE policies and procedures

Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background, drug screen, and physical test
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required
- Forklift certification within 90 days of job entry date
- Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment is preferred
- Computer proficiency required - data entry skills
- Inventory control & equipment maintenance
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Positive attitude, decision making, interpersonal skills, conflict management and coaching skills
- Factory environment with a large range in temperature changes
- Standing, walking, bending/stooping, push/pull, and repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily
- Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly
