At ZT Automotive, warranty is a critical function that directly impacts dealership profitability and compliance. It is not treated as clerical work. It is a disciplined, accountable process with defined standards, clean schedules, and clear expectations. Our service and accounting teams rely on accuracy, organization, and proactive follow-up to ensure claims are submitted correctly and reimbursed on time.


The Warranty Administrator is responsible for managing and processing warranty claims in full compliance with manufacturer policies while maintaining accurate financial and service records. This role requires strong organizational discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate closely with service advisors, technicians, accounting, and manufacturer representatives to protect revenue and ensure timely reimbursement.


We are seeking a professional who understands that warranty performance directly impacts financial results and takes ownership of doing the job right the first time.


Responsibilities: 

  • Accurately process and submit warranty claims in compliance with manufacturer and dealership policies
  • Review repair orders for proper documentation, accuracy, and policy adherence
  • Verify coverage, eligibility, mileage, labor operations, and parts billing prior to RO closing
  • Collaboration with Parts and Service Managers to ensure accuracy in billing
  • Reconcile warranty receivables and maintain clean, aging-controlled accounting schedules
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and technicians to resolve claim discrepancies
  • Stay current on manufacturer warranty policies, recalls, and procedural updates
  • Support internal warranty audits and maintain audit-ready documentation
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Prior automotive warranty administrator experience preferred
  • Proficient computer skills (Including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Prior experience with CDK database systems is preferred
  • High attention to detail with the ability to identify documentation gaps
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional communication skills
