Job DetailsJob Location: Houston DTR - Houston, TX 77073Position Type: Full TimeThe Welder will be responsible for the hard metal application of stabilizer blades. All Welders are also required to adhere to all safety and quality policies implemented by Drilling Tools International, Inc.   Education: GED or High School Diploma preferred Experience: 3-5 year hard metal application preferred Previous shop technician, grinder and Welder I experience helpful Job Duties: Welding (MIG, TIG, Stick and Buildup) Grinding (NC, manual machine and hand grinding) Clipper Lathe operations Processing repair items per DTI Repair Ticket requirements Utilizing proper ring gauge sizes and performing ring gauge inspection Multiple hard facing applications including Wirefed and Hand Applied Repair of indications (TIG Weld) Buff tools and perform dry powder and LPI inspections Crane operations Pull proper tools for jobs General clean up and organization of welder’s work area Other duties as assigned QualificationsQualifications: Ability to communicate on technical issues. Ability to record tool specifications for quality and performance purposes Must be able to read and interpret charts, drawings and blueprints Must be able to read, interpret and follow work instructions
