Novarc Technologies is looking for a Welding Technician to join our growing team and support the production of our cobots.

Summary: As a Welding Technician, you will work directly with customers after the sale of the SWR to understand their workflow, set expectations, and help reduce operational bottlenecks. You will take part in the installations of the SWR, provide training to ensure operators are confident using the system and support customers through adoption and ramp-up, helping them successfully integrate the SWR into their production processes. You will also be working hand in hand with our Customer Support/Welding Operations team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert technical guidance and training to customers on utilizing the SWR

• Provide remote or on site support for our clients 

• Support continuous improvement in the Welding Operations Team

• Analyze R&D Welds

• Assist with Novarc welding projects and developments

• Complete internal projects per development plan

• Develop new weld procedures

• Field Installation support of equipment, if and when required.

• Working with the Revenue team, evaluate our clients shop workflow. Indicate and reduce bottlenecks, set realistic expectations and ensure customer preparedness ahead of the SWR installation and training

• Working with the Customer Experience team, assist our clients with their adoption and production ramp up with the SWR

• Perform other duties as assigned by the management team and the Director of Welding Operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a welder

• Minimum 3 years of Pipe Welding/Fitting experience

• Legally entitled to work in the United States

• Valid passport and ability to travel internationally

• Valid driver's license

• Flexible availability to work shifts as needed

• Dynamic, motivated, and eager to learn and contribute to company improvement.

• This role is customer-facing and requires a clean and professional appearance as well as proper personal conduct in the face of customer challenges

Schedule:

• The core working hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, 8 working hours per day.

• Travel requirements will vary by project and may be higher or lower than approximately 45–65% annually, depending on business needs, and may include weekend travel to provide customer support or installation services, as our clients are located globally.
