About the Role:
We are a Houston based restaurant looking for a bookkeeper who is also an AP specialist. Candidates with prior restaurant experience are preferred. Please do not apply if you do not have prior experience in the hospitality industry.
This role is in-person and you may be required to work overtime and during weekends.

The core responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and ensure timely processing of invoices.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements to identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes.
- Maintain organized documentation for audits and compliance.
- Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
- Utilize accounting software to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
- At lest three years experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role in the Restaurant Industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software; QuickBooks
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of AP processes and financial reporting is a plus.
