Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training programs: Design and implement comprehensive training curricula covering various aspects of lifting operations, including rigging, slinging, signaling, and equipment operation.
  • Conduct practical demonstrations and assessments: Lead hands-on training sessions, demonstrating safe lifting techniques and evaluating students' understanding and proficiency.
  • Maintain a safe learning environment: Enforce strict safety protocols and procedures during all training activities.
  • Stay current with industry regulations and best practices: Continuously update knowledge of lifting operations standards and incorporate relevant information into training programs.
  • Foster a positive learning experience: Create an engaging and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and interaction.
  • Evaluate student performance: Provide constructive feedback and assess student progress throughout the training program.
  • Collaborate with other instructors: Work as part of a team to share knowledge and best practices, ensuring consistency in training delivery.
  • Contribute to curriculum development: Assist in reviewing and updating training materials to maintain their relevance and effectiveness.

Business Development Operations
  • Contribute to implementation of strategic and tactical plans.
  • Present courses professionally to satisfy clients and attract further business.

QMS & Day-to-Day Operations
  • Support the Company QMS.
  • Compliance with company policies and standards, report any incidents.
  • Deliver training courses in line with accreditation and client requirements.
  • HSE – Ensure training delivery is HSE compliant.
  • Update any training materials as required.



Requirements

  • Extensive lifting operations experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in lifting operations, preferably in a variety of industries.
  • Strong safety background: Proven track record of adhering to safety protocols and promoting a safety-first culture.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills: Ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proactive and self-motivated: Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and solve problems effectively.
  • Passion for teaching and learning: Enthusiasm for sharing knowledge and helping others develop their skills.
  • Basic foundational safety training experience: Familiarity with safety training principles and practices is a plus.
Working Conditions:
  • Work environment- Industrial Office Setting and team oriented.
  • Hours: -8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. – Five (5) day work week with potential for overtime work based on business demands.
Other Requirements
  • Technical certificate in HSE, engineering or related subject.
  • Experience of the Oil and gas industry in an operational role.
  • Training experience is advantageous.
  • Train the Trainer Certification.
  • In-depth understanding of the industry including training, risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite programs
