Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Houston, TX 77051The Grounds & Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for performing routine maintenance and groundskeeping tasks while safely operating heavy machinery approximately 50% of the time. This role supports facility operations, outdoor grounds maintenance, and construction or material handling projects. Training will be provided for candidates with limited heavy equipment experience. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Perform general grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, debris removal, and landscaping support. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, backhoes, skid steers, dozers, rollers, motor graders, and man lifts. Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines while operating machinery. Conduct routine inspection and basic maintenance of equipment, reporting any issues to supervisors. Assist with facility maintenance projects, including material movement, site preparation, and minor repairs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Participate in training programs to develop heavy machinery skills as needed. QualificationsQualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid driver’s license. Prior experience operating heavy machinery is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Strong attention to safety, detail, and teamwork. Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and operate machinery safely.
