The Security Supervisor plays an important leadership role in maintaining a secure and professional environment across the property while supporting daily operations and guest experience.

This role oversees security team members, monitors property safety procedures, and ensures that all safety protocols and emergency procedures are followed in accordance with Makeready standards.

Required Tasks

• Supervise daily activities of the security team and provide leadership and guidance during assigned shifts
• Monitor the property to ensure the safety and security of guests, team members, and facilities
• Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, emergencies, and guest concerns
• Conduct regular patrols of guest areas, back-of-house spaces, parking areas, and surrounding property ground
• Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate documentation of security-related activities
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, emergency protocols, and company policies
• Assist with investigations related to safety or security incidents as needed
• Support training and development of security team members
• Coordinate with property leadership and local authorities when necessary
• Maintain security equipment and systems including cameras, alarms, and access controls
• Provide assistance to guests when needed while maintaining a welcoming and professional presence
• Adhere to Makeready’s Guiding Principles

• Perform additional duties and assignments as required

Requested Capabilities

• Prior experience in hotel security, hospitality security, or a related security field preferred
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and emergency response protocols
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Professional and service-oriented demeanor
