In this role you will take responsibility for all communications and marketing activities (campaigns, events, conferences, sponsorships) in support of the global Nuclear sector, aligning them to the priorities of the business in Canada, US and Asia, Middle East, and Australia (EMEA). This includes: Creating external messages to enhance brand awareness and attract talent. Driving market and/or initiative campaigns. Amplifying the voice of our president and key senior leaders both internally and externally. Mentoring and engaging with the regional communications and marketing leads. Managing any external relationships with communications or event-based marketing vendors – PR firms, freelance/contract talent, etc. Supporting as needed, the business development activities of the business. Your role within the team: You will work in collaboration with a team of business partners as well as with the Marketing and Digital Communications, External Communications, Internal Communications and Brand leads across the world to design and deliver campaigns and communication projects. As part of the Global Communications & Marketing team, you will also support regional deployment of global initiatives. In this role you will more specifically: Work closely with the Global Nuclear senior leadership team to develop priorities and deliver creative and innovative communications and marketing solutions. Contribute to business strategy. Consult and advise internal clients on marketing and communications strategies, tactics, optimal deployment cadence, measurement and continuous improvement. Create, socialize and deploy an integrated marketing and communications plan for the global sector, considering regional needs, and recognizing the role of a nuclear technology provider. Measure and evaluate effectiveness of all activities. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients. Contribute to the overarching action planning for the relevant areas of the business. Why choose AtkinsRéalis as an employer? Experience in the professional services/design and engineering/construction industry is preferred. Experience in manufacturing or another technical environment would be beneficial. Experience in a unionized environment would be beneficial. Some degree of science literacy an added benefit. Knowledge of the nuclear industry would be an advantage. Ability to think strategically, see the big picture and broader company business objectives. Ability to work effectively within a group, as well as independently, and enjoy working with different personality styles and management levels, both in person and across geographies. Exceptional project management and prioritization skills. Extensive 360-degree Marketing and Communications experience. A focus on measuring performance and making data-driven decisions. High levels of initiative and confidence to come up with, develop, share and deliver ideas. Excellent communication and presentation skills and attention to detail. Able to build relationships and influence people across cultures. Proven experience working in a global matrix environment. Proven ability to report to and collaborate with senior leaders. An innate curiosity and willingness to learn. Additional Information: Location is flexible (Canada, US, UK). Travel approximately 20% of time. Full time role, permanent position.
