Job Summary

As a key member of our cleaning staff, you will be responsible for maintaining our facilities to ensure they meet current cleaning standards and health regulations. Your role is essential to guaranteeing a safe, orderly, functional, and clean environment for all our employees, visitors, and customers.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• General Facility CareYou will manage general surface cleaning by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, cleaning windows and furniture, and disinfecting common areas. Restroom maintenance is also a core part of the role, requiring you to ensure that restrooms are thoroughly clean and disinfected.  
• Waste & Specialized CleaningYou will handle waste collection by gathering and properly disposing of trash, respecting recycling regulations when necessary. Occasionally, you will take care of specialized area cleaning, which includes high-rise windows, carpets, and other areas requiring specific techniques.  
• Safety & Chemical ComplianceFor workplace safety, you must safely handle and use chemicals for weekly surface cleaning, fully understanding the risks involved in mixing chemical products. You are also required to properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain safety standards at all times. 

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience and EducationWe require 6 months to 1 year of prior professional experience in a cleaning or janitorial role, backed by a basic primary or secondary education.  
• Technical KnowledgeCandidates must possess a solid understanding of different cleaning products, their proper use, and specific techniques for various surfaces, alongside the safe handling and risks of chemical products.  
• Key Professional SkillsWe look for individuals with strong attention to detail to perform thorough cleaning and keep all areas tidy. Excellent organization and time management skills are necessary to plan and execute tasks efficiently within deadlines. A responsible and reliable attitude is essential to consistently complete assigned tasks to a high quality standard.  
• Physical RequirementsYou must have the physical stamina necessary to perform demanding tasks, which includes lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods during your shift.
