We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Director of Crude Oil Marketing to lead our marketing strategy for oil, condensate and related downstream offerings. This leader will drive brand positioning, product commercialization, market expansion, and revenue growth across the continental United States.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in oil & gas markets, strong commercial instincts, and a proven ability to transform insights into high‑impact marketing programs.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy for crude oil across the EagleFord, Permian and Uinta.

  • Lead market segmentation, positioning, pricing strategy, and long‑range planning.

  • Partner with executive leadership to align marketing strategy with company growth objectives.

Market & Customer Insights

  • Analyze market trends, competitor positioning, pricing, and global supply‑demand dynamics.

  • Build customer insights programs to drive product innovation and commercial decision-making.

  • Oversee production forecasting and market modeling to support sales and supply chain teams.

Sales & Commercial Enablement

  • Build strong partnerships with Sales, Trading, and Operations teams.

  • Develop tools, playbooks, and training to enable sales performance and customer engagement.

  • Support key account development and strategic customer initiatives.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing marketing organization.

  • Drive a culture of performance, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field.

  • 10+ years of marketing experience with at least 5 years in oil & gas, lubricants, midstream, or downstream energy.

  • Demonstrated success leading marketing strategy, brand development, and commercial programs.

  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in market research and forecasting.

  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional initiatives.

Preferred

MBA or advanced degree.

Experience in global markets and multi‑region product portfolios.

Familiarity with sales and trading, risk management, ETRM systems and marketing automation tools.
