- Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved or distributed.
- Move materials from receiving to storage or other designated areas.
- Organize inventory in a logical and concise sequence.
- Assemble customer orders (including trucks) from stock and or customers and assist with loading onto vehicles.
- Compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
- Maintain premises.Â
- Help maintain work equipment by properly storing and cleaning equipment after use.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to apply understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instruction.
- Ability to do manual work requiring strenuous physical exertion, e.g., continuous walking, bending, standing, pushing, pulling, or lifting.
