Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a Part Time As Needed (PTAN) Construction Technician to join the Arcadis Construction Services Team in Texas. In this role, you will be a member of a field team who works on a variety of environmental self-perform construction sites. This position requires extensive travel to job sites, based out of the Houston, TX area. You will typically be traveling for two - three weeks at a time and then home for a long weekend. This is a great opportunity to join an established team working supporting our mission of Improving Quality of Life.

Role accountabilities:

Excavation and Restoration of remediated properties
Light construction activities including framed construction,
Light Demolition including jack hammering of concrete.
Flat concrete work
Painting
Landscaping
Heavy labor to include shoveling and carrying materials up to 50 lbs
Installation of fencing and construction materials

Qualifications & Experience:

2 years of previous experience working on environmental construction sites preferred.
Oil a& Gas Industry experience required.
Railroad industry experience preferred but not required.
Experience with construction equipment.
40 hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $20.38/hr-$30.58/hr. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
