OVERVIEW

Ā The customer experience is very important to us - they're why we keep doing what we're doing. At Goode Company the Gumby is key to making that happen. You understand the fine balance of plate presentation and help provide exceptional service to our customers in a timely, courteous, efficient, and accurate manner. The Gumby aids and support our kitchen staff in all aspects of prepping hot and cold food items. Our Gumby are polite and friendly to guests, and co-workers alike, and understand the importance of maintaining Goode Company's high sanitation standards. You always keep your workstation clean and sanitary, because you know it is a direct reflection on you.

Ā PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare all gumby items- gumbo, salad, and deserts according to Goode Company specifications
  • Ensure gumby station is always stocked and ready for orders
  • Maintain (FIFO)- first in, first out for all food items.
  • Ensure backup supply level are up to parĀ 
  • Ensure gumby printer is ready for the day- restock paper and ink if needed
  • Follow food safety standards
  • Ensure a ready to work station prior to end of shift

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:Ā 

  • High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma preferredĀ 
  • Previous experience preferredĀ 
  • TABC Certification required
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and writtenĀ 
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as neededĀ 
  • Helpful attitude and friendly demeanorĀ 
  • Knowledge of general sanitary and safety practicesĀ 
  • Able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
