Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking experienced and highly skilled Urgent Care Physicians for a flexible locum tenens opportunity in Kingwood, Texas. This role supports a high-performing, freestanding urgent care clinic offering consistent PRN and ongoing coverage options.

Opportunity Details:

• Location: Kingwood, TX

• Contract Type: Locum Tenens

• Setting: Freestanding Urgent Care

• Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing

• Schedule: PRN, Part-Time, or Full-Time Flexibility

• Clinic Hours:

  • Monday – Saturday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM

  • Sunday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Patient Volume: 30+ patients per shift

• Patient Demographic: All Ages (Family Medicine/Urgent Care mix)

Scope of Practice:

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries

• Perform in-office procedures including suturing, splinting, and I&D

• Interpret basic X-rays and other urgent care diagnostics

• Coordinate care, provide patient education, and document in EMR

• Work autonomously with an experienced clinical support staff

Provider Requirements:

• Licensure: Active & Unrestricted Texas Medical License

• DEA: Current & Unrestricted DEA Registration

• Certifications: BLS & ACLS (AHA Required)

• Experience: At least 2 years of recent Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience

• Skills: Must be proficient in minor urgent care procedures and confident seeing all age groups
