Job Title:           Scheduling Coordinator

Department:     Customer Service/ Warranty

Reports to:        Customer Service/Warranty Manager

Position Type:   Full-Time, Non-Exempt

 

SUMMARY:  The Customer Service Department is a large part of our company and works with all departments to ensure an excellent customer experience.  As a Scheduling Coordinator you will spend most of the day on email and/or phone with external/internal customers, resolving issues, collecting, entering and processing orders for installation.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inputting customer details on orders
  • Transcribing selection sheets for install/transcribing for repairs
  • Process work order for install
  • Proofreading data
  • Answer email in timely manner
  • Answer phone calls/return missed phone calls and voicemails immediately
  • Update records for reselections and/or rescheduled installs
  • Dealing with customer and homeowner queries
  • Working to meet deadline each day/sense of urgency
  • Helping all teammates
  • Operate office equipment including computer and copier
  • Adhere to confidentiality regulations

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Typing skills / 40 wpm preferred
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Computer skills and knowledge of flooring/new home construction a plus
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 – 5 years of customer service experience preferred
  • High School Diploma/GED/College

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to lift 1-10lbs occasionally
  • Required to remain stationary for prolonged periods of time, repetitively use hands to finger, handle, grip, feel, reach with hands and arms, occasionally stand, walk
  • Able to hear, understand and distinguish speech and/or other sounds
