About the Role:

Health Wealth Pharmacy is seeking a licensed PRN Staff Pharmacist to provide coverage on an as-needed basis. This is a good opportunity for a pharmacist looking for a flexible schedule while supporting a growing pharmacy operation.

Responsibilities:

Dispense prescription medications accurately while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance
Counsel patients on proper medication use, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions
Verify and review prescriptions submitted by healthcare providers for accuracy and appropriateness
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy
Maintain accurate pharmacy records and ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy laws
Support pharmacy technicians and staff to ensure efficient daily pharmacy operations
Monitor and manage controlled substance dispensing in accordance with DEA regulations

Requirements:

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution
Active and unrestricted Texas State Pharmacist License required
Previous retail, compounding, or clinical pharmacy experience preferred
Strong knowledge of drug interactions, pharmacology, and pharmacy law
Excellent patient communication and counseling skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible PRN schedule
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Compounding experience is a plus
