About The Position

We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position in TX. This 36-day assignment begins on July 28, 2025, with potential for extension. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a Trauma Center, Chest Pain Center, and Advanced Primary Stroke Center. The schedule consists of 12-hour shifts (to be determined) at the main hospital and four affiliated free-standing emergency departments. This opportunity offers a chance to work in a multi-specialty clinic setting and requires an active Texas medical license.

Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide emergency medical care in a Trauma Center 

• Manage patients in a certified Chest Pain Center and Advanced Primary Stroke Center 

• Handle a diverse range of emergency cases in both hospital and FSED settings 

• Collaborate with multi-specialty teams to ensure comprehensive patient care 

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records 

• Adhere to hospital protocols and best practices in emergency medicine 

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

• Ensure efficient patient flow and timely treatment in high-volume emergency settings
