About The Position
 We are seeking a board-certified Pathologist for a 100-day locum tenens assignment at a Laboratory / Diagnostic Center in Texas. Starting 07/07/2025, this role requires expertise in Anatomic Pathology (AP) or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP) with subspecialty training in hematopathology. The physician will work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, providing on-site pathology services for 40 hours per week. Key responsibilities include performing pathological examinations, interpreting results, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced pathologists or fellows to contribute their expertise in a dynamic diagnostic setting, with potential for assignment extension.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Perform anatomic pathology examinations and interpretations
• Conduct hematopathology analyses and diagnoses
• Utilize WindowPath and Epic electronic health record systems
• Maintain accurate and detailed pathology reports
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Provide expert consultation to clinicians on pathology findings
• Ensure quality control and adherence to laboratory standards
• Participate in tumor boards and clinical conferences as needed
• Contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory processes
• Stay updated on latest developments in pathology and hematopathology
• Mentor and educate medical staff on pathology-related topics
• Adapt to the specific needs and workflows of the diagnostic center
Additional Information:
• Board certification in AP or AP/CP is required
• Subspecialty training in hematopathology is essential
