JOB SUMMARY
This position oversees national multi-unit sales for Sysco Specialty Meat Group (SSMG), the setup and maintenance of all corporate multi-unit (CMU) and local contract bids and order guides. Analyzes, identifies, and proposes actions to both purchasing and sales departments to ensure compliance with CMU business and grow margin/profitability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manager corporate multi-unit (CMU) directors for their regional business for national accounts.
- Review margin reports daily at customer and item level to ensure FP corporate is making the correct adjusted gross profit.
- Analyze top moving items for margin enhancement and make recommendations to purchasing departments.
- Review markets daily and recommend price changes to customer bids and market and national cost.
- Check all bids for correct pricing, i.e. auditability, adjusted gross profit, and case movement
- Assist the VP of sales in developing requests for proposal (RFP).
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience
- 5 years in produce purchasing experience preferred.
Professional Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office,
- Effective written/oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills
DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY
Most important decisions made fully independently:
- Trains the directors to develop prospects into customer sales.
- Develops an annual target list of multi-unit account (MUA) prospects.
- Utilizes knowledge and expertise to develop and manage unique product inventory.

- Responsible for leading and managing the team in achieving increased sales
