POSITION SUMMARY:

Transwestern Investments is seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Associate to support its High Net Worth (HNW) investor base across its commercial real estate investment platform. This role ensures that existing investors receive exceptional service, timely reporting, and a professional experience—allowing senior leadership to dedicate more time to raising new capital and expanding strategic relationships.

The ideal candidate is an analytical, proactive, and client-service-oriented professional who can manage recurring investor needs, maintain accurate data, prepare materials, and interface effectively with both internal stakeholders and external investors. The position will be based in Transwestern’s corporate headquarters in Houston, Texas.

POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Investor Service & Relationship Support

  • Serve as day-to-day contact for existing HNW investors for routine inquiries, reporting requests, and administrative follow-ups.

  • Coordinate responses with asset management, accounting, and senior team members to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

  • Track and prepare materials for investor touchpoints, including quarterly check-ins, distributions, and tax-related communications.

  • Maintain detailed notes and follow-ups in the CRM, ensuring full transparency into ongoing investor activity.

  • Support investor onboarding (subscription documents, org charts, JV agreements, KYC/AML, wire instructions) in partnership with legal, compliance, and administration teams.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and quality-check quarterly investor reports, performance summaries, and property-level updates.

  • Analyze and report on existing assets including leasing progress, construction progress, budget, schedule, market research, and capital markets.

Marketing & Presentation Support

  • Help prepare and update pitch decks, investor letters, property summaries, and Offering Memorandum materials.

  • Ensure brand consistency and professional formatting across all materials.

CRM, Data & Process Management

  • Maintain and update CRM entries, including investor information, meeting notes, capital commitments, and pipeline items.

  • Track outstanding investor items, pending documents, and follow-ups.

  • Manage and organize project folders.

Meeting, Scheduling & Administrative Coordination

  • Coordinate logistics for investor meetings, visits, webinars, and events.

  • Manage scheduling for investor-facing activity, ensuring senior leadership is fully prepared and equipped with relevant materials.

  • Support planning for roadshows, property tours, or advisory board meetings.

  • Research and identify new leads.

  • Participate in meetings with existing and prospective investors.

Project & Process Support

  • Assist with capital call / distribution processes, including investor notifications and internal coordination.

  • Support compliance and regulatory documentation for investor communications (e.g., ensuring regulatory-compliant templates, alignment with firm policies)

  • Participate in ad-hoc IR projects such as newsletter production, data room updates, or system enhancements.

  • Coordinate and participate in calls with sponsors & asset managers for project updates.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • An undergraduate degree is required.

Experience:

  • 3–5+ years’ experience in investor relations, real estate finance, private equity, asset management, or related fields.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyze performance metrics and portfolio data.

  • High proficiency with PowerPoint and professional presentation development.

  • CRM experience (Juniper Square) strongly preferred.

Personal Skills:

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to inspire others on the team to consistently meet high standards.

  • Ability to find solutions to problems and clear hurdles.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and short deadlines.

  • Displays a positive, can-do attitude and professional manner, exhibiting respectfulness and behavior consistent with the company’s core values. Works well in a company with a culture emphasizing a collegial, team-oriented environment.

  • Has the ability to interact and communicate effectively up, down, and across the organization, strong oral and written communication skills.
