Assist with preparing downhole and drilling equipment for upcoming operations.

Responsibilities

Assist with:

  • Conducting all drills and checks as required.

  • Preparation for upcoming drilling operations.

  • Providing thorough handovers at each daily change of shift.

  • Performing other duties as required and/or directed by the direct supervisor.

  • Supporting the development of offshore employees’ performance and competence to ensure the Rig/Operating Area has the right skills, knowledge, and capabilities to operate under Seadrill standards and meet objectives.

 

Equipment & Systems

Assist with:

  • Ensuring operational preparedness of all safety and emergency equipment.

  • Preparation of drilling equipment.

  • Operation of drilling equipment and systems as instructed by the supervisor.

  • Maintaining all drilling-related equipment as per instructions and procedures, including first-line maintenance.

  • Handling tubulars and associated handling equipment as instructed by the supervisor.

  • Preparing all tubulars, handling gear, and other equipment required for well operations.
