Site Manager – Major Industrial Projects

Are you ready to take the helm of large-scale industrial projects and make a lasting impact? As Site Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind all construction activities on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and excellence in execution. This is a leadership role where your expertise will shape the success of complex, multidisciplinary projects in collaboration with the Project Manager and a world-class team.

You’ll represent Hatch on-site, building strong relationships with clients, local authorities, contractors, and partners—while leading a high-performing team in a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do

Lead with Purpose: Oversee all on-site functions, including health & safety, quality assurance, construction supervision, field engineering, project controls, contract administration, and materials management.
Drive Operational Excellence: Manage day-to-day site operations, facilities, and services to keep projects on track.
Be the Face of Hatch: Maintain strong client relationships and foster trust with local communities.
Ensure Compliance: Guarantee adherence to all applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
Champion Safety & Quality: Set the tone for a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Lead Meetings & Communication: Chair contractor kick-offs, progress reviews, and ensure clear communication across all stakeholders.
Develop Talent: Build and mentor a capable site team, ensuring performance and accountability.
What You Bring
A degree in engineering or equivalent experience, with 15–20 years in managing large-scale industrial construction projects.
Proven leadership in remote or challenging environments, with a strong focus on health, safety, and environment.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Expertise in planning, organization, and contract management, with sharp business acumen.
Ability to build trust with clients and communities and manage industrial relations effectively.
Comprehensive knowledge of EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) processes and project interfaces.
Mobility to work at remote sites on a rotation basis.
Postgraduate studies in project or construction management are an asset.
