Extraordinary Projects Need Exceptional Talent

Description:

  • Work on diverse project types (new construction, tenant improvements, existing facilities, and additions) across sectors including commercial, mission-critical, healthcare, industrial, manufacturing, and high-rise.

  • Understand and apply the company’s standardized file and folder naming conventions across all projects.

  • Model corresponding systems components (equipment, light fixtures, device boxes, cable trays, pull boxes) with proper access clearances according to the project specifications and the National Electric Code (NEC).

  • Model electrical elements in accordance with established standards for spacing, sizing, and installation practices. Verify that modeled systems align with code requirements, manufacturer specifications, and company guidelines to support accurate prefabrication and installation.

  • Identify and resolve clashes in a timely manner using Navisworks or other specified software based on project needs.

  • Ability to utilize Bluebeam for document review, markup, and collaboration.

  • Ability to read and comprehend construction drawings, project specifications, and project submittals.

  • Ability to read and comprehend code compliance as stated in the National Electrical Code (NEC).

  • Adhere to project schedules to meet or exceed expectations for task deadlines.

  • Enter parameter information as directed by the BIM project lead.

  • Prepare sheets with views, legends, schedules, details, title blocks, revisions, and issuances.

  • Complete record drawings at project completion, documenting all as-built changes.

  • Create, organize, and store files in accordance with defined structure protocols.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.)

  • Effective problem-solving abilities, with a focus on developing efficient, cost-effective, and safe solutions.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, maintaining a professional, respectful, and reputable presence in all interactions with diverse audiences.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

  • A foundational understanding of Revit, and the basis creation of construction documentation
