Job DetailsJob Location: CSP Permian - Houston, TX 77019Position Type: Full TimeHeavy Equipment Operator Job Description Responsible for safely operating equipment to complete construction projects as necessary. Must also be able to provide assistance with other tasks related to construction projects as required. Along with operating, this position must also perform minor daily maintenance of equipment as well. This job description provides an overview of responsibilities and task to be performed. It is not intended to be an all-inclusive job description as needs tend to change over time. Responsibilities: - Job responsibilities include direct management or oversight of the following: • Operating equipment in a safe and efficient manner under varying weather conditions while exposed to dampness, fumes, dust, electrical, mechanical and traffic hazards. • Follow OSHA and Standard Construction Safety Regulations • Perform minor daily maintenance of Heavy Equipment. • Greasing equipment to maintain smooth operation • Control levers, pedals, wheels, knobs, buttons in operation of equipment. • Perform general labor duties when necessary. • Being knowledgeable in the operation of multiple pieces of industry related equipment. • Communicate with Foreperson and coworkers to the daily job specifications. • Due to changes and modifications in the job from time to time, employees are required to be flexible and assume other responsibilities assigned by management as deemed necessary. Requirements: • Must have valid driver license. • Attention to performing duties in a safe efficient manner. • Ability to work overtime as needed. • Willing to in an environment with the potential for constant change to weather, surrounding obstacles, etc. • Must be able to move levers, pedals and other controls in order to properly operate equipment. • Must be physically able to climb, stoop, bend and shovel. • Verbal communication is imperative for job safety. • The ability to get along while working side by side with coworkers. • Must be able to interact with inspectors, superintendents and the general public.
