Description

Performs collision/body repairs and refinishing on commercial vehicles to restore structural integrity, safety, and appearance.

Key Responsibilities

Repair/replace damaged panels, fiberglass, frames, and structural components per OEM procedures and estimates.
Prep surfaces, mix materials, and apply finishes using proper equipment and safety controls (painter roles).
Operate welders, grinders, sanders, spray equipment, and other shop tools safely.
Maintain quality standards; document work performed and communicate needs to estimator/parts.
Follow hazardous material handling, PPE, and booth safety requirements.

Requirements

2+ years body repair or paint experience preferred; heavy-duty collision a plus.
Ability to read repair plans/estimates and meet quality/cycle time expectations.
Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work with tools for extended periods (role dependent).
