Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator

About the Role:

The Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse in Houston, TX. This position is responsible for the safe and effective handling of materials, including loading and unloading goods, as well as maintaining inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will contribute to a streamlined workflow by operating forklifts and other equipment to move products within the warehouse. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to minimize risks and ensure a productive work environment. Ultimately, this role supports the overall supply chain process, ensuring that products are readily available for distribution to our customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
• Ability to operate additional equipment such as pallet jacks or reach trucks.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products safely and efficiently, pick orders, and perform quality control (QC). 
• Load and unload shipments, ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards and protocols.
• Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and improve efficiency.
• Assembly (preferred/additional skill)
