Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Helper/Driver to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting warehouse operations, including loading/unloading shipments, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean work environment. Additionally, the role includes occasional driving and delivery duties, ensuring timely and safe transport of goods to our stores.Â
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing inventory in the warehouse.
Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
Pick and pack orders accurately for delivery or shipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Assist in inventory counts and quality control checks.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if necessary).
Occasionally drive company vehicles to deliver orders to stores.
Follow all safety and compliance regulations while driving and handling inventory.
Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and delivery recipients.
Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (Class C).
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical labor.
Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
Basic understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations is a plus.
Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends if needed.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
Must-have:
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50lbs regularly and occasionally heavier items with assistance.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic math skills for inventory and order accuracy.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse location.
Nice-to-have:
- Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain role.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems or inventory software.
- Certification in forklift or other material-handling equipment operation.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse settings.
- Effective communication skills for team collaboration and problem-solving.
