Job DetailsLevel: EntryJob Location: DGM Houston Greens - Houston, TX 77032Education Level: NoneSalary Range: $17.00 - $19.00 HourlyJob Shift: DayJob Category: WarehouseJob Purpose: Responsible for an array of functions that include checking, receiving and processing incoming material, and basic data entry skills. Duties: Verify physical material versus paperwork. Prepare orders by processing requests, pulling materials and prepare items for shipment. Sort and place material on warehouse racks, shelves or bins according to standards. Open crates and other containers. Maintain inventory control by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, and recording inventory received. Responsible for some data entry. Maintains a safe and clean work environment. All other duties as assigned by supervisor. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years warehouse experience preferred. Skills/Qualifications Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to follow detailed instructions and written procedures. Ability to prioritize work based on safety, quality, and productivity demands. Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack. Ability to interact with all levels of staff and personnel. Basic computer and math skills. Ability to read, write and speak English language. Read, comprehend, and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Working Conditions Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly for the duration of a shift. Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneel, and lift cumbersome and/or heavy objects. Ability to work prolonged and/or irregular hours.
