Location: Houston, TX (100% Onsite – Manufacturing Environment)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Compensation: $30–$40/hour + performance bonus

About the Opportunity

We are a high-volume precision manufacturing operation producing coil springs used in aerospace, automotive, and industrial applications. This is a hands-on, highly specialized role focused on spring coiling setup, not CNC machining.

We are looking for experienced coiling professionals who can independently set up, run, and troubleshoot coiling machines in a fast-paced production environment.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate spring coiling machines (Simco, Torin, Wafios)
• Convert straight wire into precision coil springs
• Perform full machine setups, adjustments, and troubleshooting
• Program and adjust PLC-based systems
• Ensure high-quality output in a high-volume production environment
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Collaborate with production leadership and team members
• Train and support junior operators (senior/lead-level candidates)

Must-Have:

• 3+ years of spring coiling setup experience
• Ability to perform full machine setup (not just operation)
• Strong understanding of the coiling process (not CNC machining)
• Experience running machines independently (no supervision needed)
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Stable work history with long-term commitment mindset

Preferred:

• Experience with Simco (strong preference), Torin, or Wafios
• PLC programming experience
• Background in aerospace or automotive spring manufacturing
• Leadership or mentorship experience

Work Environment

• Manufacturing/shop setting (no remote flexibility)
• Early start times:
  • 5:00 AM – 2:30 PM OR
  • 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
