Responsibilities:

· Develop new and improved products to meet customer demands in a rapid manner.

· Interact with suppliers to identify and qualify raw materials.

· Provide technical support to all company departments including Sales, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Quality Control.

· Support Technical Sales by attending product trials at customer sites.

· Create detailed technical reports by organizing and summarizing work.

· Characterize, handle, label, inspect, and dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with environmental regulations.

· Serve as a mentor to less experienced technical staff

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

· 3-5 years of industrial experience, including product development and formulation.

· Knowledge in polymers, lubricants, coatings, emulsions, and surface chemistry.

· Knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes.

· Wood & Paper industry knowledge a plus.
