Responsibilities:

  • Running and approving raw materials to insure the quality of our finished products.  

  • Running and approving production samples to insure that-the customer receives a quality product in a timely manner. 

  • Completing supervisor assigned responsibilities to insure that departmental objectives are being met on time. 

  • Participation with cross functional teams to identify continuous improvement opportunities as required. 

  • Verify proper labeling, handling and inspection of hazardous waste material. 

  • Must be able to complete normal QC functions with a minimal amount of supervision. 

  • Characterize, handle, label, manifest, or inspect hazardous waste in accordance with environmental regulations.    

  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent 

  • A general understanding of basic chemical concepts is desirable 

  • Good oral and written communication skills 

  • Good math skills 

  • Computer experience including Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes databases, and corporate ERP systems is helpful but not required
