Overview:

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for checking guests in and out of the hotel and providing exceptional service throughout the guests’ stay. Giving clear communication and assistance to all guest while upholding the Six Flags Standards of guest service.Ā

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour


Responsibilities:

Courteously welcome all guests and provide excellent service to ensure guest satisfaction

Ā· Respond to or channel any guest requests/complaints to the department or proper manager

Ā· Handle guest billing in a responsible and professional manner

Ā· Use problem-solving skills to professionally handle any guest issue, question, or concern

Ā· Communicate with other departments to address requests and concerns from guests

Ā· Provide details and property information for guests stay prior to their arrival

Ā· Operate the Front Desk property management system (Opera) to make reservations, review stay details, and billing information

Ā· Check-in guests into the computer, establishes credit and give the guest accurate information

Ā· Proper creation and distribution of room keys and staff keys

Ā· Handle phone calls from both in-house guests and public calls

Ā· Ensure transportation needs are being met for shuttling and check in & outs

Ā· Adhere to house rules, departmental policies, and safety standards

Ā· Communicate clearly with guests and management

Ā· Assist in other departments such as transportation or housekeeping as assigned or needed

Ā· Create customized itineraries for guests


Qualifications:

18 years or older

Ā· Must have general computer knowledge

Ā· Computer experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Ā· Ability to work in all weather conditions

Ā· Previous experience with Credit Card Machine and cash handling preferred

Ā· Must be a friendly, outgoing ā€œpeopleā€ person with a good attitude and smile

Ā· Previous experience working with the public in a service provider industry preferred

Ā· Must be comfortable answering and transferring calls

Ā· Knowledgeable of hotel property and safari

Ā· Possess ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Ā· Possess ability to remain calm and professional in all situations

Ā· Knowledgeable in all Hotel, Theme Park, Water Park, and Safari hours of operation & offerings

Ā· Must be able to work mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and other shifts as necessary

Ā· Drivers license preferred

Ā· Possess ability to remain calm and professional in all situations

Ā· Knowledge of Opera software preferred

Ā· Possess organizational skills and attention to detail
