Job Summary**
The Lead Coordinator Document Control will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of document control for Primoris Energy Services projects in Hubbard, Texas. This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of all project-related documentation, adhering to established company and client procedures.
Job Responsibilities**
* Develop, implement, and maintain document control procedures and systems in accordance with company standards and project requirements.
* Lead and supervise a team of document control specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
* Manage the issuance, distribution, retrieval, and archiving of all project documents, including drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence.
* Ensure all documents are properly coded, numbered, revised, and tracked using designated document management software.
* Conduct regular audits of document control processes to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate document flow.
* Prepare and generate various document control reports and metrics for management review.
* Troubleshoot and resolve document control-related issues and discrepancies.
* Assist in the preparation and submission of project deliverables and close-out documentation.
* Train new project personnel on document control procedures and software.
Job Qualifications**
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in document control, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role, preferably within the energy or construction industry.
* Proven experience with electronic document management systems (EDMS) and relevant software (e.g., SharePoint, Aconex, etc.).
* Strong understanding of document control principles, processes, and best practices.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Effective leadership and team management abilities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
