We are currently hiring a CNC Machine Operator – Stone Milling & Countertops for a growing and reputable shop.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to mill and fabricate stone products and countertops. This role involves operating CNC machinery to cut, shape, and finish granite, quartz, marble, and other solid surface materials with precision and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has experience in stone fabrication and understands the importance of accuracy, quality control, and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines for stone milling and countertop fabrication

• Load slabs and secure materials properly for cutting

• Read and interpret shop drawings, measurements, and CAD files

• Make tool changes and minor program adjustments as needed

• Polish, edge, and finish stone surfaces to specification

• Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and quality

• Perform routine maintenance and keep equipment clean

• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of CNC machine operation experience (stone fabrication preferred)

• Experience working with granite, quartz, marble, or solid surface materials

• Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings accurately

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods

• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
