Position Summary
We are hiring for a Operations and Maintenance Technician Floater with at least 3 years of experience to work in our Services department. This position reports to a Regional Service Manager and will ideally be located in Hudson, Wisconsin.
 
Duties  and Responsibilities

  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and instrument components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
  • Routine maintenance on various operating CNG compressor equipment, including, but not limited to, pumps, valves, meters, rotating equipment, and various other equipment.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters.
  • Ensures that all station equipment, including safety devices and systems are functioning properly, and reports any equipment failures to supervisor.
  • Performs daily walk around inspections to identify any potential risks and ensure good housekeeping standards are always maintained.
  • Ensures that all vendors accessing Station follow all Company Policies and Procedures.
  • 24 Hour on-call status required.
  • Service existing accounts by routinely calling on customers, receiving calls from customers, and routine site visits.
  • Respond to emergency calls and preventative maintenance calls in an organized manner.
  • Responsible to book all travel and track all expenses.
  • Documents service actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Three to five years of industrial maintenance experience, troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment.
  • HS Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Coursework or certification in electronic technology preferred.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal for reporting purposes); attention to detail.
  • Must be able to lift 60lbs.
  • Computer skills, schematics
  • Wide range construction technology knowledge and materials, preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Must be able to travel to other locations 

Work Hours and Arrangements
Expected hours no less than 40 per week

The range for this role is anticipated to be $32.00 - $36.00 hourly and bonus for eligible positions. Where a specific pay range is noted, it is a good faith estimate at the time of this posting.  The actual salary offered will be based on experience, skills, qualifications, market / business considerations, and geographic location.
