Youth Respite Direct Support Professional (DSP) 

POSITION SUMMARY
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you support individuals with developmental disabilities. You empower individuals to reach their full potential. We are looking for full-time, part-time, and as-needed (PRN) team members. 
 
Essential Functions

·        You assist individuals with daily living activities.
·        You respect individual rights and confidentiality.
·        You follow the Individual Service Plan. 
·        You use electronic software to complete documentation. 
·        You take clients to complete fun activities in the community. 
·        You help clients with a clean and safe living environment.
·        You use effective communication with team members and family members of individuals.
·        You protect the health and safety of the individual and others.
·        You attend all paid training and team meetings.
 
SKILLS & ABILITIES
 
Education:   At least a high school diploma or GED.
 
Experience:  
·        No experience necessary
·        Computer Skills: Compose emails. Use various programs, including Brittco and ADP, to do job duties.
 
Certificates & Licenses: Valid Driver’s License with five or fewer points.
 
Other Requirements:
  • CPR and First Aid Certification, which we will provide.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
