1st shift Powder Pour-Off

GENERAL SUMMARY

Package powders into jars or bottles of various sizes.  Label filled containers and package for shipping.   

 PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Locate appropriate jars and/or bottles for filling
• Pour powder product into containers per batch ticket instructions
• Apply appropriate labeling to containers
• Pack filled containers into appropriate cartons for shipping
• Apply labeling to cartons
• Prepare cartons for move to shipping/staging area
• Complete batch tick with proper information
• Maintain neat and orderly work area

Experience and Education Required

• No experience necessary

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

• Basic math/measurement skills
• Basic reading and comprehension skills

Reasoning Ability

• Determine correct processes regarding standard Powder Pour off procedures as instructed in initial training.
• Work without continuous supervision and complete assigned projects

WORK ENVIRONMENT 

The work environment is representative of those an employee would encounter in a normal paint manufacturing facility while performing the job tasks listed in this job description.  The employee has exposure to extremely hot liquids and equipment and must use caution in performing duties.
