Blank Industries, a leading ice melt manufacturer in the New England Area, is looking for experienced Full-Time Forklift Operators, for seasonal work. Forklift Operators will work in our production, warehouse, and outdoor storage areas, organizing products, supplying the manufacturing area, offloading and automated packaging and palletizing line. The ideal candidates for this role will need to be reliable, self-driven, and dependable.
Schedule:
Weekends: Saturday and Sunday 6AM to 6PM
Forklift Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift in production area, warehouse and outside.
- Transport finished goods and materials to designated locations.
- Prepare, track, and document incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Storing and stacking materials in the appropriate locations.
- Maintain and clean equipment daily, perform pre-checks and post-checks.
- Observe, document, and report equipment malfunctions and potential problems.
- Assist as needed with any other departments.
- Operate a forklift safely while in a warehouse and outside during all weather conditions.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of forklift experience. (Required)
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. and perform daily manual labor.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Must be Reliable and dependable.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately.
Blank Industries is located in Hudson, Ma. We are looking to add you to our team here in Hudson. We offer a competitive wage as well as benefits. This role is seasonal. However, for the right person, this role could turn into a year-round position.
