General Position Overview
This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the office and plant including ordering and inventory of cleaning supplies, and other related projects
Essential Job Functions
- Demonstrates SoundOff Signal’s Core Values in daily interactions with internal and external customers
- Performs housekeeping and janitorial duties maintaining office, cafeteria, restrooms, glass surfaces and other common areas
- Ordering and inventory of cleaning supplies.
- Point person for meeting room set up/take down
- Assist in readying rooms for upcoming events as well as cleaning post event.
- Occasional tasks as assigned in other local SoundOff Signal locations
- Trash and paper recycle pickup as required.
- Maintain and replenish janitorial supplies such as trash bags, soaps, cleaning material and hand towels at both SoundOff Signal locations.
- Consistently meet quality and efficiency standards.
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers (employees, vendors, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Able to perform job consistently without excessive absenteeism or tardiness.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum two years’ experience with the skills required for the position.
- Ability to work around other employees while using equipment that is noisy, like vacuum cleaner or carpet scrubber.
- Understand and use of floor scrubber equipment for operation.
- Able to take an active role and work in a fast-pace environment.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Able to stand, sit, walk, bend, twist, rotate and/or reach during an entire shift.
Working Conditions
- Light manufacturing environment
- Fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Low noise level in a temperature-controlled setting
- Required to work shift hours with occasional overtime
Schedule
- Monday-Thursday, 4:00am-1:00pm; Friday 4:00am-8:00am
