Summary
Responsible for facilitating all clinical services for program as outlined by facility standards and in accordance withÂ
clinical philosophy of program.Â
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Conducts and assigns screenings and level of care assessments, using clinical knowledge and skill level.Â
• Facilitates appropriate admissions to all levels of care based on Locus and/or ASAM criteria.Â
• Completes assessment, admission and other paperwork for clients to start treatment in a timely mannerÂ
included, but not limited to; authorizations, PCP’s and crisis plan.Â
• Work effectively with facility staff to ensure consistent implementation of programs.Â
• May be expected to provide coverage for other evaluation counselors in the region when requested byÂ
Supervisor.Â
• Clinician will also be responsible for a small caseload of clients to complete group therapy, as applicable.Â
• Duties may also include providing assessment services to referral sources such as county juvenile justiceÂ
centers, county jails, and other forensic and/or mental health settings.Â
• Maintains safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for clients including crisis intervention.
• Complete all required trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Licensure, Education, & Experience
Trainee status or other certification/licensure with the MD Board of Professional Counselors & Therapists or MD Board of Social Work Examiners required. • Specialized training in: CBT, motivational interviewing, trauma informed care, collaborative documentation preferred.
