  • Diagnosing abnormal equipment or facility conditions, implementing solutions, escalating when appropriate, and documenting incidents and resolutions.
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures for routine operations, emergency response, and disaster recovery.
  • Maintaining accurate records of data center hardware assets, equipment configurations, physical locations, and cable connections.
  • Supporting inventory management and coordinating replacement parts or equipment needs.
  • Working with external vendors and contractors during equipment installations, upgrades, maintenance, and repairs to help ensure work meets Sabey's standards and timelines.
  • Supporting disaster recovery and business continuity efforts and participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incidents.
  • Documenting incidents, contributing to root-cause analysis, and helping implement measures that reduce the risk of recurrence.
  • Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders during and following operational incidents.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and cost effectiveness through new technologies, tools, and processes.
  • Using emerging technologies, including AI and automation tools, to streamline appropriate routine tasks, documentation, correspondence, meeting notes, and operational tracking.
  • Promoting a safety-conscious culture and embodying Sabey's core values.

Experience You Will Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or coursework related to data center operations are a plus.
  • Relevant industry experience with mechanical, electrical, controls, or similar systems, with the ability to quickly learn unfamiliar equipment using operations manuals and technical documentation.
