SAIC is seeking an Enterprise Architect to serve as the top-level technical authority for the product line architecture, ensuring all solutions align with enterprise strategy, industry-standard architecture frameworks, and the SAFe Architectural Runway. This role bridges enterprise-level direction with product-level execution across a complex portfolio of supply chain systems.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

This position is fully remote and can be worked from anywhere within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

Lead development and maintenance of AS-IS and TO-BE architecture models using recognized enterprise architecture frameworks (DoDAF, UAF) across the product line
Build and maintain the enterprise-wide SAFe Architectural Runway, defining shared technical foundations, architectural enablers, integration points, and cross-product capabilities
Develop Solution Architecture Packages encompassing business, systems, application, and data architectures for new features and capabilities
Lead architectural assessments to identify reuse opportunities, alignment with enterprise architecture, and compatibility with product line standards
Establish and maintain an architecture repository within approved tools, including vetted design patterns, reusable components, solution templates, and interface patterns
Provide technical guidance on FHIR, ESB/EAI patterns, API integration, and enterprise interoperability requirements
Support DevSecOps maturity assessments and document compliance gaps and technical readiness
Develop and maintain current architecture diagrams (logical, network, dataflow), updated each release
Ensure authorization (ATO) compliance is considered in all architectural decisions; support Assessment & Authorization (A&A) artifact development
Advise on cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, government cloud/Platform One) and cloud migration strategies
