SAIC is currently seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Project Manager/SCRUM Master to join our team to begin an exciting and challenging career in Ashburn, VA.

Job Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting for multiple software development projects using Java and cloud technologies. The candidate will be responsible for:

Coordinating the delivery of projects and managing any dependencies with other project teams within the organization.
Leading and managing a team of people in a hybrid work environment.
Lead daily stand-ups, sprint retrospectives, sprint reviews, and backlog refinement sessions.
Working knowledge of SELC and associated documentation (project plans, charters, business cases, requirements documents, test plans, status reports, etc.).
In-depth experience delivering software applications using an Agile methodology (Scrum)
Working closely with business and solution resources on defining, analyzing, and documenting requirements/user stories.
Working with senior executives and clients to gather requirements. Interpret and translate the captured technical and functional requirements into technical documentation that can be used by both the project management team and the development teams to develop the end user software using Java technologies.
Understanding of SQL databases – Oracle, Postgres.
In-depth knowledge and prior experience implementing business processes, database concepts and software development that support mission essential priorities.
Contribute to project scoping, including requirement assessment, best practices, application design and development, methodologies, and budget recommendations.
