ESSENTIALDUTIES:

• Conductsoftware compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems, ornetwork environments.
  
• Develop anddefine major and minor characteristics of quality including quality metrics andscoring parameters and determine requisite quality control resources.
  
• Create andmaintain databases of known test defects.
  
• Design testplans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
  
• Design, developand use automated testing tools.
  
• Develop orspecify standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality orrelease readiness.
  
• Develop testingprograms that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios,regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
  
• Assist theSponsor in the evaluation of software and associated documentation.
  
• Participate informal and informal reviews to determine quality.
  
• Identifyprogram deviance from standards and suggest modifications to ensure compliance.
  
• Identify,analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, orcontent.
  
• Install,maintain, and use software-testing programs.
  
• Investigatecustomer problems.
  
• Perform initialdebugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces todetermine breakdown source.
  
• Plan testschedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
  
• Providefeedback and recommendations to development team on software usability andfunctionality.
  
• Test systemmodifications to prepare for implementation.
  
• Collaboratewith field staff or customers to evaluate or diagnose problems and recommendpossible solutions.
  
• Coordinate useror third-party testing.
  
• Conductanalyses of test results.
  
• Experiencecreating scripts using Selenium
  
• Experience withPlaywright, Katalon, Cypress or similar tool
  
• WritingScripts: Create programs using languages like Python, Java, or Javascript tosimulate user actions.
  
• BuildingFrameworks: Design reusable testing structures from scratch to handle largeamounts of code
  

SUCCESSFULCANDIDATES MUST HAVE:

• An ACTIVETS/SCI with FSP Security Clearance
  
• Bachelor’sdegree in computer science or related field
  
• 5+ years of QualityAssurance/Automated Test Engineer experience
  
• Must beeligible to work in the United States
