Control Panel Wireman – Industrial Controls
Location: Humble, TX
Hours: 7am-5pm Monday-Friday


Position Overview
ACE Controls is seeking an experienced Control Panel Wireman to join our Humble, TX team. In this position you will work from electrical schematics and engineering drawings, perform point-to-point wiring and termination of high quality industrial control panels used in water, wastewater, food & beverage, and manufacturing environments.

You will work with industrial control components; relays, terminal blocks, circuit protection devices, power distribution equipment, and other electrical control systems. Your work plays a critical role in delivering reliable automation solutions that help customers operate safely, efficiently, and consistently.

The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship and enjoys solving electrical and control system challenges in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform point-to-point wiring, routing, labeling, and termination of industrial control panels according to electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts.
  • Install, wire, and terminate relays, terminal blocks, circuit breakers, fuses, power supplies, and other industrial control components.
  • Perform testing, verification, and troubleshooting to confirm proper operation.
  • Diagnose and repair wiring, control system, and electrical component issues.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and team members to meet project schedules.
  • Recommend process improvements that enhance quality, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Maintain organized workspaces and accurate project documentation.
  • Adhere to company safety standards and electrical best practices.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or electrical certifications preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience wiring, testing, or troubleshooting industrial control panels.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency with electric hand tools, power tools, electrical test equipment, safety practices, codes, and industry standards.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
