JOB SUMMARY: Drive manufacturing operational excellence by providing hands-on technical support, optimizing production processes, maintaining equipment and tooling standards, and leading continuous improvement activities that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and efficiency. Develop, validate, document, train, and sustain capable manufacturing processes in partnership with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, and other support functions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide daily shop-floor technical support through Gemba and Tier escalation review; troubleshoot complex equipment and process issues and restore processes to nominal conditions. Own OEE performance for the assigned area; analyze losses and trends and drive actions that improve equipment effectiveness, throughput, and process efficiency. Lead scrap reduction, cost-saving, and continuous improvement activities and report measurable project impact to the business. Perform Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations for process and quality deviations and implement sustainable corrective actions. Plan and conduct trials and experiments to develop, prove, modify, or improve manufacturing processes, tooling, equipment, productivity, quality, and safety. Execute equipment and process validations, including Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ). Coordinate resolution of equipment maintenance issues, open work orders, downtime, and escalations; support equipment purchases requisitions and CAPEX documentation. Manage tooling requirements, Tool Request Forms, tooling performance, rework, and associated documentation in coordination with Manufacturing and Quality. Develop and maintain Work Instructions, manufacturing routers/routing sheets, labor standards, process parameters, and engineering standards; train production personnel on new or revised methods. Support new product introduction, process development, Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews, first-article activities, and formal mold approval as applicable. Support plant layout requests, modifications, and spatial concepts to improve manufacturing flow, safety, and effective use of equipment and floor space. Analyze OEE, scrap, maintenance, SPC, and CPK data to identify trends, verify process capability, and establish improvement actions in collaboration with Quality Engineering. Support implementation and improvement of automated manufacturing systems and evaluate new tools, technologies, and methods that improve process performance. Participate in MRB and cross-functional quality/process reviews as applicable and provide engineering input for disposition and corrective action. Conduct or support Safety and 6S audits, participate in plant safety reviews, and execute ISO 9001 and AS9100 audit-readiness activities. Participate in Tier, Quality/OEE, and Continuous Improvement reviews to align priorities, communicate status, and sustain accountability for assigned actions.   REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university, 10 years of related manufacturing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
