PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Utility will operate and/or perform a variety of tasks and job duties on a regular basis. While performing these tasks, the Utility will be expected to produce defined quantities of parts and components according to company and customer specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

More specifically, the person will:

• Participate and support manufacturing concepts of TWI, Lean, etc.

Must be occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assist available. Vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, and peripheral vision. Specific hearing abilities required by this job include being able to respond quickly to instructions in a fast-paced work environment and demonstrate good communication skills. 

ENVIRONMENTAL ADAPTABILITY

Steel-toe safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, welding coat, and grinding shield. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to work with flammable materials and vibrations. The employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually LOUD.
