Power & Energy Division CAT Connect Administrator

 

Job Description

This position has a key role in the administrative support of Caterpillar Connectivity platforms and third party monitoring offerings for the entire P&E division. This individual works directly with the Technical Support Team assisting Cleveland Brothers sales, service our customer base and aftermarket support providing professional administrative technical assistance The individual selected will assist with on-boarding CAT and other OEM-branded equipment onto the proper CAT or third party monitoring platform, provide customer training for these monitoring services, assist these customers setting up custom notifications, provide first call technical support, online equipment communication troubleshooting, work with multiple sales and service teams to ensure the correct equipment is selected for their application, provide onsite customer installation and training support as needed. Follow all connected equipment to ensure proper billing in a timely manner.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Possess excellent verbal, written, analytical, and administrative skills with attention to detail;
    • Regularly update and maintain information in dealer business system, and other data base repositories;
    • Accurately create and maintain digital files and folders on network drives;
    • Work with the EM Solutions Group to maintain, generate, and reconcile accurate invoices
    • Create, review, maintain, and update Excel files for daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting;
    • Collect and accurately assemble multiple types of digital, physical, and verbal information from various sources;
    • Utilize third party web interfaces to verify equipment communication data is accurate.
    • Ability and proficiency to learn and effectively utilize Caterpillar and dealer web sites and information;
    • Professionally maintain confidential files for storage and documentation;
    • Serve as back-up support for other positions/duties.

 

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications:

Intermediate to advanced computer skills required. Applicants must be proficient with Microsoft office applications. Successful candidates will possess excellent verbal and written administrative skills with an emphasis on accuracy and detail. Ability to prioritize duties, work both independently and within a team. Strong self-starting, interpersonal, professional communication, and multi-tasking skills are required. Must be accountable, flexible, and successful both individually and within a team environment. Willing to travel as needed to assist customers, technicians and training.
